Doug Fath embodies the principles of Richer Soul - as you listen you will hear certain behaviors and choices that Doug makes to control the direction of his life. He is always intentional in his choices, setting goals and always learning.

Doug’s real estate endeavors have reach beyond his community and have received national acclaim. He was named to the Empact 100 list of Top Young Entrepreneurs in the United States and was recognized for this award multiple times at the White House and again years later at the United Nations. He is a winner of the Bank of America Entrepreneurship Award and has been featured and interviewed by ABC News, The NYU Report, the Philadelphia Daily News, and Bloomberg TV. Doug is also the author of “Positive Cashflow with Student Housing.”

I talk with Doug about real estate and the many different ways you can participate to increase your wealth. Real estate is definitely a path to financial freedom when approached with a plan. You need to match your skill sets with the type of investing activity you choose to be involved in.

Welcome to Richer Soul - your journey to more a purposeful, intentional, amazing life. Where are you going to go and how are you going to get there? Let's figure that our together. At the core is the financial well being to be able to do what you want, when you want, how you want. It's about personal freedom and abundance.

Today  we are going to chat with Kathe Kline from rockyourretirement.com about what makes for a great retirement. Kathe and I are of a similar age and it's around our generation that the rules of the previous generations for work, life and retirement changed and a new set of rules applies. I wanted to talk to Kathe because even though the rules are constantly changing we need to figure out what a happy retirement looks like especially for those of us who decide to achieve freedom early!

Kathe was a financial adviser to the middle class since 1990 and noticed that some people who had very little money were having a good time, staying healthy, and enjoying life, while some people who were very wealthy were not enjoying life and getting very sick.

She started to question What was the difference?  Isn’t Retirement supposed to be all about money?

Kathe also noticed that on average, when a large lump sum of money that one of her clients had saved all their lives for was left to a beneficiary, that money on average was gone in 18 months.

She started to tell her clients rather than leave a bunch of money, to “build memories” with the beneficiaries.  Money doesn’t last, but memories stay with you.

Welcome to Richer Soul - your journey to more a purposeful, intentional, amazing life. Where are you going to go and how are you going to get there? Let's figure that our together. At the core is the financial well being to be able to do what you want, when you want, how you want. It's about personal freedom.

Today we are going to chat with John, not his real name - he is a millionaire already in his 30s and his life in pretty good, however there are a few areas out of balance and we are going to explore those with John.

It's always amazing to me how the people who need help the most are least likely to ask and those who need to the least are most likely to ask.

As we see with John, money alone will not bring you happiness, you need to find balance across all areas of your life.
