Do What You Love, Make More, Work Less

Becoming an entrepreneur can provide the freedom and money to live an abundant life. However, most business owners get stuck in running the business instead of creating a business that runs itself.

Take away: Systematize your business so you can work less and make more.

Action step: Get started on delegating one thing.

Money Learnings: Schools don't teach us about money.  Paul grew up in a blue collar family and everyone around them worked for the auto industry. His father ran a flooring business.

Bio: Paul Maskill started his first business in 2011. He was soon working 60-80 hours a week with a business that couldn’t survive without him. So Paul started systematizing everything while empowering a team to run the business better than he could. Before he knew it his revenue doubled to almost $500k while the number of hours he worked dropped below 40. Paul then sold his business for 3x net profit. He’s now back into business ownership with 3 local businesses while also coaching overwhelmed business owners who are hungry to uncover the income and freedom they always knew was possible.

Why is it that we have coaches for games that have relatively little importance- most professional teams have a multitude of coaches and trainers - but for the game of life,  we are expected to go it alone and not have help? That's crazy - I have coaches, trainers, mentors and many others who help me propel myself forward.

Today's episode is about coaching youth sports, it's a solo show. There is a surprise twist at the end.

Take away: You can learn anything you choose, and obstacles can be overcome.

Highlights from this episode:

  • Coaching for life versus a game.
